About the role/school
Teach Plus are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Sevenoaks seeking a committed Year 6 Teacher to join their team from April 2026 on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys supporting pupils during their final year of primary school and preparing them for the transition to secondary education.

Job Responsibilities
The successful Year 6 Teacher will:
* Plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum
* Prepare pupils effectively for their end of Key Stage 2 assessments
* Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes
* Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
* Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership
Qualifications/Experience
The ideal Year 6 Teacher will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally in Year 6
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills
* A passion for supporting pupils' academic and personal development
* The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
* Right to work in the UK
