A lovely family from London is looking for a proactive, warm, and highly engaging Afterschool Nanny for their toddler and school‑aged child who has mild autism and a speech delay. The core requirement is strong initiative; the ideal candidate must be a self‑starter who plans stimulating activities to actively support the oldest child’s communication and development.
A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 3:00 pm to 6:30 / 6:45 pm
Responsibilities
* Collect the children from school
* Assist with homework and provide learning support
* Supervise and participate in after‑school activities
* Plan and prepare engaging recreational activities
* Organise and supervise messy play sessions
* Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for the children
* Engage the children in creative arts and crafts projects
* Take the children to parks and playgrounds for outdoor play
* Prepare supper and ensure the kitchen and dining area are tidied afterwards
