This is a unique opportunity to provide specialistOccupational Therapy (OT)interventions within theSECURE STAIRSframework a trauma-informed, psychologically led model focused on the emotional wellbeing and rehabilitation of young people.
The Role
* Manage a caseload of young people with complex needs using evidence-based, person-centred approaches
* Conduct specialist assessments and deliver tailored OT interventions
* Work closely within amulti-disciplinary team (MDT)to plan and implement individual and group-based therapies
* Support the development of trauma-informed practice within the secure environment
* Provide supervision, leadership, and clinical guidance to junior team members
This role combines hands-on therapy with professional development and offers a chance to be part of an impactful, supportive service built around recovery and rehabilitation.
Qualifications:
* HCPC-registered
* Experience supporting children or young people with neurodevelopmental or mental health needs
* Knowledge ofDSM-5diagnostic criteria and assessment tools for autism and ADHD
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Experience withsensory integrationor neurodevelopmental assessments (Ayres Sensory Integration trained ideal)
* Ideally trained inADOS-2/ADI-Rand experienced in secure, hospital, or community settings

This position requires aDisclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkin line with theRehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975.
Applicants must havelived and worked in the UK for the past 5 years, withno more than a 28-day break abroadandno unexplained employment gaps.
The post holder may be required to undertake other reasonable duties as the service evolves.
