Stock & Systems Manager

We are looking for a Stock & Systems Manager to join our team, operating across the P&I portfolio. You’ll be responsible for improving processes, managing stock control metrics, and acting as an independent reviewer of inventory management practices to ensure KPIs and contractual requirements are met.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, 37.5 hours of work, any 5 from 7 days (08:00 – 16:00).

We’re offering a salary of £45,000 per annum, plus 33 days of holiday (including bank holidays), a company pension scheme, and access to an employee discount platform covering retail, tech, travel and more. What you’ll do on a typical day
* Ensure stock integrity and manage related KPIs across multiple contracts
* Develop best practice and standardisation of control processes with operational teams
* Build strong relationships with stakeholders and lead stock-related performance improvements
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and audit governance
* Analyse data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
What you need to succeed at GXO
* Proven experience managing inventory and systems operations in a fast‑moving environment
* Strong ERP & WMS knowledge, including implementation, and advanced Excel skills
* Ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams effectively
* Expertise in stock control, replenishment planning, and high SKU management
* Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and reporting skills
