We are excited to offer 4 opportunities to work for the Accommodation Service and enhance our students' experience this summer.
Based in our Cockcroft building on the Moulsecoomb campus, you will assist the Accommodation Team by providing administrative support and excellent customer service, reporting to the Accommodation Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing a customer-facing service to students and the public
* Answering enquiries related to accommodation through email, telephone, and in-person meetings
* Processing applications for accommodation using information databases and maintaining accurate records
* Attending summer housing events and move-in events
* Supporting students on our social media platforms
* Providing advice on accommodation to various audiences
* Performing general office duties such as filing and processing landlord reference requests
Your recent experience in a customer-focused environment and strong administrative skills will be key to success in this role. We’re looking for individuals with effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to explain complex procedures in a straightforward manner. Familiarity with word processing, spreadsheet, and database packages is essential.
The positions are available on a full-time, fixed-term basis for 4 months with an ideal start date in mid-June. Please be aware that there will be restricted availability for time off during August and September. Additionally, you should anticipate some weekend work as part of your responsibilities.
