Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing year-end service charge accounts (residential & commercial)
* Reconciling income/expenditure, including accruals and prepayments
* Acting as the main point of contact for clients and property managers
* Working with external stakeholders to resolve complex queries and ensure compliance
* Supporting and reviewing the work of junior team members
* Assisting with statutory accounts and audit queries when required
* Keeping up to date with service charge best practice and RICS guidelines
Key Requirements
* Experience in service charge accounting (residential, commercial or mixed)
* AAT qualified or QBE; ACCA/ACA part-qualified is a bonus
* Strong understanding of service charge legislation and leaseholder requirements
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships
* High attention to detail and strong time-management across multiple deadlines
* Confident using Excel and familiar with property management systems (e.g., Qube, MRI, Yardi)
