Overview
Surgical Services Waiting Time Coordinator role based at University Hospital Crosshouse. This is a full-time position primarily supporting Dermatology and Plastic Surgery, with additional support for Head and Neck Services as required. The post is based at University Hospital Ayr, with cross-site working required. You will provide waiting times coordinator support to the Assistant General Managers responsible for the services and the wider management team. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team, and good organisational and time management abilities. An understanding of budgets to monitor spend against budget is advantageous.
What You Will Do
Join our team as a Waiting Times Coordinator within the Surgical Division. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive waiting times coordination support for the services and management team, working collaboratively in a safe, caring, and respectful environment.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
You will be educated to degree level, preferably in Business Administration or equivalent, or have equivalent knowledge. Experience of working in the NHS is required. Applicants should have an excellent standard of IT literacy and be competent in MS Office, with advanced skill in Excel to support the production of accurate statistics for various purposes.
