Job overview
This vacancy is for a permanent post as a Lincoln Team Community Midwife – Band 6.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, patient‑centred midwife to deliver gold‑standard midwifery care as part of a supportive team.
Main duties
* Provide compassionate, dedicated and motivated midwifery care across the pregnancy continuum.
* Problem‑solve using initiative, manage time effectively and work collaboratively with patients and colleagues.
* Advocate for women and uphold the organisation’s values of patient centred safety, compassion, respect and excellence.
Qualifications
* Registered Midwife with the NMC.
* Diploma in Midwifery or equivalent.
* Access to travel across the county with own vehicle and appropriate insurance.
* Relevant NIPE qualification and recognised management qualification (preferred).
* Ongoing commitment to professional development.
Evidence – knowledge, skills, aptitudes
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Awareness of and knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.

Previous experience

* Involvement in clinical audit.
