Key Responsibilities
* Client focus – Build, maintain and strengthen trusted advisory relationships in at least one supply chain discipline (operations, planning, procurement, manufacturing, etc.).
* Business development – Contribute to proposals, thought leadership, and internal sector collaboration to showcase EY’s leading practices.
* Operational excellence – Support successful delivery of projects and workstreams, ensuring forecast accuracy and high‑quality outcomes that exceed client expectations.
* People development – Mentor, nurture, and career counsel team members, establishing inclusive, high‑performing teams that realise consultant and client potential.
Experience
Senior Managers typically bring practical experience from professional services or industry with technical and management depth. Relevant sectors include Consumer Products & Retail, Energy & Resources, Government & Infrastructure, Health & Life Sciences, and Telecommunication, Media & Entertainment.
Technical Skills
* End‑to‑end supply‑chain transformation, including design, setup and delivery of people, process and technology change.
* Supply‑chain technology implementation (planning, manufacturing, procurement) with next‑generation tools such as RPA, cognitive automation and AI.
* Demand/supply planning, sales & operations planning, segmentation strategy, inventory optimisation and production scheduling; technology exposure to OMP, Kinaxis, o9, Aera, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, SAP S/4 HANA.
* Strategic and transactional procurement across the purchasing lifecycle, including procurement strategy, category management, sourcing, contract management and procurement technology (e.g., SAP Ariba).
* Operating‑model transformation, design, vision and implementation for end‑to‑end operating models.
* Supply‑chain strategy, operating‑model design, segmentation strategy and inventory optimisation.
Qualifications
Professional body membership or equivalent (e.g., CIPS, IACCM) is valued but not mandatory. Additive skills that align with EY’s practice requirements are welcomed.
