Job Overview
We are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for timber delivery work. This role involves delivering timber products to Wickes stores & Builbers Merchants
Shifts are available across AM and PM operations
1. Day Drivers: Delivery to Wickes Stores and Builders Merchants. Start time from – Monday to Friday No weekend work currently Strapping of loads No loading or unloading – all done by the stores All curtainside trailers
Night Drivers
2. Collections form RMS Hull and BSW Melton
3. Delivering product back into BSW Stoke
4. Strapping of loads
5. No loading or unloading (all done by the sites).
6. Start times: – Sunday to Thursday
7. All curtainside trailers
Minimum 8 hours guaranteed pay per shift
Breaks
8. 45-minute deduction for Tacho vehicles
9. Completion of driver assessment required
Driver Requirements
10. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
11. Digital Tachograph Card & CPC Card (in date)
12. Maximum 6 penalty points (no DR, DG, DD codes – none active or expired)
13. Minimum 6 months licence holding
14. Minimum 3 months driving experience
Pay Structure
15. Day drivers – £ per hour
16. Trampers – £ Per hour
17. Night drivers – £ Per hour
