Role Description
The IT Support Engineer plays a crucial role in helping teachers teach and learners learn. As part of a team of IT Support Engineers, you will provide first-class support to education users, working to ITIL best practices. Your goal will be to collaborate with the service desk to meet SLA targets, escalate issues when necessary, and keep customers informed. The role is suitable for someone who enjoys troubleshooting and supporting users who may not have IT backgrounds.

Responsibilities
* Be the customer face of RM, ensuring excellent service.
* Assist the service desk with support delivery.
* Provide technical assistance to school-based users and report issues according to policies.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
* Customer focus, problem-solving, and time management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication.
* Punctuality and workload prioritization.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot issues, ask relevant questions, and escalate when needed.
* Ability to work well with remote teams and build strong relationships.
Skills include support of desktops and mobile devices, peripheral support, basic networking, image deployment, familiarity with Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace, and knowledge of ITIL and ticketing systems like ServiceNow.
