We’re working with a well-established insurance client who is looking to hire an experienced Compliance Manage to join their team on a hybrid basis (remote with regular time in their Halifax office).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative compliance function that plays a key role in supporting the business to meet FCA requirements, manage regulatory risk, and ensure fair customer outcomes.
* Interpreting new and updated FCA regulations and assessing their impact
* Leading and supporting 2nd line compliance monitoring activities
* Coordinating cross-functional regulatory initiatives
* Advising on compliance matters related to new products and business change
* Managing responses to FCA consultations, thematic reviews, and enquiries
* Horizon scanning and preparing the business for regulatory developments
* Attending relevant committees and engaging with stakeholders across the organisation
Ideal background:
* Extensive experience within the General Insurance sector
* Strong working knowledge of FCA regulation
* Demonstrable success delivering compliance projects and initiatives
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
The package includes:
* Salary up to £67,000 (depending on experience)
* 12.5% performance bonus
* 27 days’ holiday + bank holidays (option to buy/sell)
