Document Controller Location: Head Office in Taplow (1 day/week) & Site-Based Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Driving Requirement: Must have a full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle An established and respected residential developer is looking to appoint an experienced Document Controller to support multiple live projects across the region. This role will be key in managing the flow and integrity of documentation across complex construction sites and ensuring consistent, high standards are maintained throughout. The successful candidate will be based one day per week at the head office in Taplow, with the remainder of the week spent across local sites. Flexibility and a willingness to travel are essential. Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain project documentation via the client's EDMS (Viewpoint - training provided; experience with Asite also beneficial) Ensure robust version control, accurate tracking, and timely distribution of documents Support site-based teams with onboarding, EDMS training, and day-to-day queries Coordinate workflows for technical documents, drawings, and RFIs Generate regular reports and trackers to support project visibility and compliance Liaise with consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders to uphold documentation standards Assist with the preparation and collation of handover documentation including O&Ms and insurance records Candidate Requirements: Previous experience in an administrative / process driven role, ideally within construction or property development Working knowledge of document management systems Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Exceptional attention to detail and highly organised Confident communicator with the ability to support teams across multiple locations Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high-performing team delivering some of the most exciting and challenging developments in the region.
