This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

The Physician Assistant (PA) is fully qualified and certified to function in a clinical role and in accordance with the guidelines and policies of the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System. The PA is delegated the authority and responsibility to assume clinical, consultation, education, research, and administrative duties and responsibilities related to the patients and staff of the Gastroenterology Service. This position works directly for the Gastroenterology Service and his/her duties and responsibilities are at the direction of the Supervising Gastroenterologist.
