Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Bramhall, Stockport – September Start – £89–£100 per Day

A high-performing secondary school in Bramhall, Stockport is looking to appoint a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2025. This full-time role will run for the full academic year, with the potential for progression into teacher training or long-term school-based roles.
You’ll be supporting students with a range of additional needs, including autism (ASC), ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties. Your role will involve a mix of classroom support, one-to-one interventions, and small group sessions, helping students to access learning and develop confidence in both academic and social settings.
What the role involves:
* Providing targeted support to students with SEND/SEMH needs
* Working 1:1 and in small groups to deliver academic and emotional support interventions
* Supporting classroom engagement and helping students regulate behaviour
* Collaborating with teaching staff, the SENCO, and pastoral team to tailor support
* Building positive, consistent relationships with students to foster trust and motivation
