Clinical Psychologist based at Ayrshire Central Hospital.
What You Will Do
* Low Secure Forensic Mental Health Service: work under the supervision of a Consultant Clinical Forensic Psychologist to provide comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions. as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering services to Low Secure patients with complex needs including severe and enduring mental illness, addictions, complex trauma and personality disorder. The role includes teaching, training and supervision of multidisciplinary staff to develop provision of Low intensity Interventions within the Low Secure setting.
* Community Mental Health Service: provide specialist psychological assessment and treatment interventions for individuals accessing the North Ayrshire Community Mental Health Team. There will be opportunities to develop a supervisory role for clinicians and other staff members.
Knowledge, Training and/or Experience
* HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist, with experience relevant to the post. Applications from final-year DClin Trainee Clinical Psychologists are welcomed.

37 hours per week
Driving Licence
UK driving licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
