Robert Half is partnering with a leading investment and infrastructure management firm in Glasgow to recruit a new Finance Manager. You’ll take ownership of financial reporting and compliance across a diverse portfolio of companies, while also playing a strategic role in performance analysis, stakeholder engagement, and mentoring junior team members.
Financial Reporting & Control
* Lead monthly and quarterly close processes across multiple entities.
* Prepare and review management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
* Oversee statutory accounts, consolidations, VAT submissions, and intercompany reconciliations.
* Maintain accruals, prepayments, and loan schedules.
Strategic Insight & Business Partnering
* Deliver high-quality reporting using Power BI and other tools.
* Present financial performance insights to shareholders and project boards.
* Collaborate with technical and operational teams to align financial strategy with business goals.
Compliance & Risk Management
* Ensure compliance with local GAAP and jurisdictional requirements.
* Liaise with auditors and tax advisers during year-end and corporation tax processes.
* Track deliverables tied to loan facility agreements and ensure financial integrity.
Process Improvement & Transformation
* Enhance internal controls and support finance transformation initiatives.
* Drive automation and system upgrades to improve reporting efficiency.
Leadership & Mentoring
* Supervise junior team members and promote a culture of growth and accountability.
* Oversee invoice processing, cash book maintenance, and customer billing.
About you:
* CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with strong technical accounting skills.
* Experience in asset management, infrastructure, or project finance is a plus.
* Advanced Excel skills; Power BI and debt/lender reporting experience desirable.
* Excellent communicator with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
* Comfortable working independently and engaging with senior stakeholders.
