Job Description
As a Communications Officer within our Justice Hub, you’ll play a vital role in sharing the stories and successes of our Justice services, helping amplify the voices of those we support in prisons and communities.
Sitting within our Communications Team, you’ll deliver creative campaigns, manage digital content across websites and social media, and ensure brand consistency across the Justice Hub. You’ll work closely with frontline services to gather insights, support external events and webinars, and help mobilise new service launches. Your work will feed into wider campaigns and policy influencing, making a real difference to public understanding of justice issues.
* A confident communicator with strong copywriting skills and an eye for detail
* Able to translate complex topics into accessible, engaging content
* A self-starter with experience in communications, ideally in the public or non-profit sectors
* Skilled in content creation for websites and social media
* Knowledge of the UK justice sector is a plus
Qualifications

* Educated to degree level or with equivalent professional experience in a relevant field (e.g., communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing)
* Familiarity with digital tools such as CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), email marketing software, and design packages (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is desirable
* Project coordination or event management experience

Contract: Fixed Term - FTC for 12 months from start date.
Hours & work pattern: Full time, 37 hours per week.
Salary: £28,000
Location: This is a remote based role with occasional travel to our London Head Office at Pear Tree Street.
