Compass Associates are supporting a trusted care provider with the recruitment of a Home Manager for a vacancy in Dumfries & Galloway.
The Role
The ideal candidate will be an experienced and confident leader with a strong background in elderly residential or nursing care. You’ll be responsible for leading a committed team, maintaining excellent care standards, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of the service.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, manage, and develop staff to deliver safe, person-centred care
* Ensure full compliance with Care Inspectorate standards
* Oversee budgets, staffing, and operational planning
* Foster a positive culture that promotes dignity, respect, and inclusion
* Maintain effective communication with families, professionals, and local stakeholders
Requirements
* Registered Manager experience within a care home setting
* Comprehensive understanding of Scottish care regulations
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities
* Focused on quality, compliance, and team development
