New job in Aberdeen for an Asbestos Officer Long term job for 1yr may go perm | £23.90 p/h PAYE negotiable | Immediate start available | Weekly pay, guaranteed weekly hours | Must have P402 & P405 certification About your new role - The Asbestos Officer will join our clients corporate landlord team supporting clients and architects with asbestos related responsibilities. - Delivery of a strategic asbestos survey programme to meet the requirements of The Control of Asbestos Regs. - Responsible for monitoring and recording and evaluating test results of material samples and removal certificates and reports, functions relating to works in connection with asbestos within capital and revenue contracts to secure safe project delivery. - Managing asbestos surveys, asbestos removal contractors and upkeep of our clients asbestos management system - Manage asbestos within a range of properties and provide support to colleagues in managing asbestos. - Relationship management is key as the Asbestos Officer will deal with a wide range of clients from different services, including property professionals and contractors, and contribute to contract monitoring meetings - You'll use job related data-bases and systems and standard MS office software - Work flexibly and travel between a number of locations within Aberdeen About you: The Asbestos Officer will have the following - P402 certification - P405 certification - Full UK driving licence - Health and safety awareness - Understanding of the Control of Asbestos Regs 2012 - Digital asbestos management systems - Preferred - Construction industry practices - Management of asbestos contractors - Preferred - Local authority experience Interested or know someone suitable?
