We are looking for an Area Sales Manager who has a flair for sales, is highly motivated, has strong techno-commercial skills, and the ability to promote and position our Communication Systems for the Offshore Wind Segment within Europe for our Grid Automation business.

How you'll make an impact:
1. Achieve sales and growth targets within the assigned markets and accounts, including pipeline development, management, and forecasting.
2. Lead cross-functional teams/capture teams to present a competitive, differentiated solution and bids to customers.
3. Define bid pricing, positioning, and channel strategies.
4. Lead technical and commercial discussions, negotiations, and deal closing.
5. Proactively position systems, solutions, and new technologies through customer seminars and workshops using Presales resources.
6. Maintain excellent relationships with key players in the allocated market – End Customers, EPCs, Local Sales Units.
7. Gather market information to ensure updated market knowledge for planning and implementing appropriate market strategies.
8. Support the development of business strategies, sales, and growth plans for the Offshore Wind business.
Background & Profile:
9. Electrical /Electronics Engineering background with at least 10 years of sales experience in the Utility Sector. Offshore Wind project experience will be an added advantage.
10. Proven sales record in the systems business in power grid automation.
11. Strong know-how in the field of Substation Automation, Control, and Protection. Know-how in telecommunications Systems will be an advantage.
12. Result-oriented, customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.
13. Conversant with commercial aspects of contracts in export business.
14. Self-driven with strong initiative, team player with ability to manage external and internal stakeholders.
15. Fluent communication skills both written and spoken English.
