Join our team at Marks & Spencer as a Customer Assistant in our Clothing & Home section, where youll champion stylish products, on-trend designs, and exceptional customer service. We’re looking for passionate and fashion-forward individuals who are excited to dress the nation. You’ll be a brand ambassador who recommends our newest fashion items and ensures customers feel valued every time they shop with us.
Overview
Purpose: To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, with colleagues who put customers before tasks while championing and promoting our products. As the face of the business, you will be the voice of our customers helping us to continually improve.
Work Pattern
Week 1:
Sunday: 10.45–17.00
Monday: 12.15–18.30
Thursday: 12.15–18.30
Week 2:
Monday: 12.15–18.30
Thursday: 12.15–18.30
Saturday: 12.15–18.30
Due to operational requirements, successful candidates may be asked to work up to full time during the weeks commencing 14th and 21st December.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points.
* Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring shelves are stocked with products.
* Monitor and deliver on daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities.
* Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations, and deliver remarkable service.
* Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend products and services.
* Utilise digital tools and in-store devices to enhance the customer experience.
* Work as part of a team to create a great inclusive store environment and support colleagues and the local community.
* Be flexible to work across different areas of the store as required by changing demands.
