Are you a Retail Sales Advisor or Retail Sales Executive looking for your next role? At Dawsongroup, you will be at the heart of our retail van sales operation, supporting customers to purchase high-quality used commercial vehicles while helping us achieve sales, margin, and stock turn targets. This role blends customer-facing sales with hands-on involvement in stock readiness, pricing, compliance, and vehicle presentation across our retail network.
* Selling used vans to new and existing customers through enquiries, appointments, site visits, and vehicle handovers.
* Generating and converting leads via online enquiries, telesales, marketing partners, and historical customer data.
* Working closely with internal teams to support vehicle preparation, pricing accuracy, and timely availability.
* Managing sales documentation, invoicing support, and ensuring cleared funds before collection.
* Supporting cross-selling opportunities across the wider Dawsongroup where appropriate.
About You
This role suits someone who enjoys building relationships, managing multiple priorities, and seeing a sale through from first conversation to handover. You are commercially aware, organised, and comfortable balancing customer experience with operational detail.
* Experience in retail sales, automotive sales, or a customer-facing commercial role.
* Confidence communicating with customers by phone, email, and face to face.
* A disciplined approach to pricing, accuracy, and compliance.
* The ability to manage stock-related activity alongside sales targets.
* A proactive mindset and resilience in a competitive market.
