Description:
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to join the team in a busy manufacturing company based in Eastleigh.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process large volumes of procurement data daily
2. Provide administrative support for used items
3. Use the MRP system to generate purchase requirements
4. Ensure accurate and timely purchasing of required products
5. Generate and post purchase orders
6. Obtain and verify order confirmations
7. Investigate and resolve discrepancies between orders and confirmations
8. Chase suppliers for updates on large purchase orders
About You:
You’ll ideally have experience in fast paced administration, with strong attention to detail and confidence working with data systems. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks and communicating with suppliers to ensure smooth order processing.
