Requirements as a Legionella Risk Assessor:
* 2 Years’ experience in conducting risk assessments and Legionella testing
* Legionella Risk Assessor certification (City & Guilds Level 2 or Equivalent)
* Knowledge of relevant legislation (ACOP L8)
* Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication and report-writing abilities
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively
* Familiarity with water systems
* Health and safety awareness
* Willingness to travel to client sites as required
Responsibilities as a Legionella Risk Assessor:
* Conduct thorough risk assessments of water systems to identify Legionella contamination hazards.
* Collect and analyse water samples, interpreting results to determine risk levels.
* Develop and implement comprehensive risk management plans.
* Provide guidance and recommendations for control measures to prevent Legionella growth.
* Maintain detailed documentation and prepare reports.
* Stay informed on regulations and guidelines related to Legionella control.
* Conduct training sessions for relevant personnel.
* Monitor water systems continuously and review assessments periodically.
