About the Role
As a Senior Family Intervention Worker, you will:
1. Lead Assessments and Support Plans: Conduct comprehensive holistic assessments of families' strengths and needs, and work collaboratively with multi-agency partners to develop and implement effective support plans
2. Manage Complex Caseloads: Hold and manage a caseload of families with complex needs, providing direct support to children, young people, and their families to ensure their safety, security, and well-being
3. Deliver High-Quality Interventions: Use evidence-informed approaches to deliver interventions that support positive and sustainable change within families
4. Build Family Support Networks: Support families in establishing and building their support networks, and coordinate with other agencies to provide a comprehensive package of support
5. Safeguarding and Risk Management: Work as part of a multi-agency team to keep children safe and manage risk effectively so that children remain living with their families wherever it is safe to do so.
6. Help desk Rota: There will be an expectation that you will be on a fortnightly half day rota to answer telephone calls from families and professionals.

8. Support Plan Development: Collaborate with families and partners to create and implement support plans that promote resilience, good health, and positive activities for children
9. Direct Work with Families: Provide practical and emotional support to families, using structured, proactive, and timely interventions
10. Multi-Agency Collaboration: Build strong relationships with other professional groups and services to ensure integrated support for families
