About the Role
An established and forward-thinking organisation is looking for a dedicated
IT Support Specialist
to join its team. The role will involve providing high-quality technical support to end-users, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of IT systems, and contributing to the ongoing improvement of technology services.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide first-line technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, or in-person, covering hardware, software, and network issues.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with minimal disruption to business operations.
* Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals (printers, scanners, etc.).
* Assist with network management and troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, and internet connectivity.
* Create and maintain accurate documentation of technical issues and solutions.
* Support onboarding and provide user training on IT systems and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
* Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
* Experience with network administration and familiarity with cloud-based services (Azure, AWS).
* Relevant certifications such as
CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
are advantageous.
