We have an opportunity to join us as our new Central Referrals Assistant! This is a part time role working 25 hours per week, based at our Hospice in Cambridge. The Central Referrals team at Arthur Rank Hospice provides a single point of access for referrals to our clinical services, this small team provides an essential service across our hospice. Main duties of this role will include: Receiving and processing referrals across hospice clinical services Co-ordinating patient records on SystmOne Archiving of patients notes, including assisting with maintaining records for discharged/out of area patients Dealing with any enquires that come either by telephone or email regarding the services at Arthur Rank Hospice Charity Communicating effectively with patients, carers and other health and social professionals whilst maintaining a calm Working closely with our Palliative Hub to provide administrative support as required To be successful in this role, candidates must have previous experience within an administrative role, with experience of providing a high level of customer service. Experience of electronic records and database use will also be required. This role will work 25 hours per week, we can be flexible with working times, but due to the requirements of the role require cover across the week, Monday - Friday. This role is subject to a Basic level DBS Check. Interviews for this post will be held week commencing 28th July. Starting salary of £24,937, with opportunities to progress to £26,598 Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and will be pro-rata’d for part time posts. As a Charity with limited funds, it is usual practice for new starters to commence on the minimum of the salary band for the role.
