Machine Operative We are currently looking for a Machine Operative for our client in Northampton. Shift & Pay Details: Salary: £12.50 per hour Working Hours: Monday - Thursday (Apply online only) Location: Northampton, NN4 Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operative: Operating a wide range of machines as trained Ability to interpret engineering drawings Loading and unloading machines efficiently and safely Monitoring machine performance and reporting any faults Completing all safety checks prior to operating the machines and recording appropriately Ensuring quality checks are carried out at appropriate intervals and reporting any issues or concerns Ability to correctly use and read a range of quality checking equipment Emptying the machines in a safe manner Returning any quality checking equipment once a job has finished General housekeeping, ensuring work area is free from oils Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience within the manufacturing industry Keen knowledge of blueprints and measurements Able to communicate between different departments Running fault reports Benefits and perks: Free on-site parking On going position Upskilling and progression If you believe you would be the right for this position and you are ready to make the move please email or please apply direct online and we will reach out to you!
