An Outstanding Kingston primary is seeking a dynamic and reflective Year 4 Teacher to join KS2 on a Full-Time basis from January 2026. The successful Year 4 Teacher will take part in planning before January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher. This Full-Time Year 4 Teacher role is suited to someone who enjoys shaping curriculum, leading enrichment and supporting pupils to develop independence in upper KS2. A week as the Year 4 Teacher Mornings: the Year 4 Teacher leads retrieval-driven mathematics and fluent reading lessons as the Year 4 Teacher. Afternoons: the Year 4 Teacher delivers enquiry topics, practical science and project work as the Year 4 Teacher. The Year 4 Teacher will run targeted boosters, moderate with phase colleagues and support transition planning to upper KS2. The Year 4 Teacher will prepare schemes before January 2026, complete induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher. Year 4 Teacher Responsibilities & impact • The Year 4 Teacher will plan coherent maths and English sequences as the Year 4 Teacher, embed vocabulary and reasoning and design rich foundation units as the Year 4 Teacher. • The Year 4 Teacher will use assessment to personalise learning, run interventions and present outcomes at termly reviews as the Year 4 Teacher. Year 4 Teacher Requirements & profile We require a Year 4 Teacher with QTS, secure KS2 experience and a collaborative, evidence-informed approach. The Year 4 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning before January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to start teaching from January 2026 as the Year 4 Teacher.
