Job Title: Building Safety Manager
Contract: 6-Month Contract
Location: South Yorkshire (Local Authority)
A South Yorkshire–based local authority is seeking an experienced Building Safety Manager to support the delivery of building safety compliance across its portfolio of Higher-Risk Buildings (HRBs).
The Role
You will play a key role in ensuring the safety and compliance of residential buildings, with a strong focus on the development and maintenance of Building Safety Case Reports and the effective management of the Golden Thread of information.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead on the preparation and review of Building Safety Case Reports
* Ensure compliance with the Building Safety Act and associated regulations
* Oversee fire and building safety compliance across HRBs
* Manage and maintain accurate safety data and documentation
* Work closely with internal teams, residents, and external stakeholders
* Support audits, inspections, and continuous improvement of safety processes
Requirements
* Proven experience in a Building Safety Manager or similar role
* Strong knowledge of HRB compliance and current legislation
* Experience producing Building Safety Case Reports
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
