A 250 person strong architecture practice based in Central London is seeking a new HR Manager. The company is a respected design practice that promotes professional development, wellbeing, and flexible working, with an HR function that genuinely influences how the business evolves across their 3 offices, 2 in the UK and 1 in Europe.
Responsibilities:
* Lead day to day HR operations, including employee relations, onboarding, recruitment coordination, and performance processes
* Partner with Heads of Team to guide workforce planning and career development pathways
* Champion wellbeing, inclusion, learning initiatives, and staff experience improvements
* Maintain and improve HR policies and procedures with a clear, accessible approach
* Support salary reviews, promotions, succession planning, and resourcing strategies
* Oversee HR systems, data accuracy, and reporting
* Contribute to culture initiatives, social programming, and early careers activity
* Ensure compliance with UK employment law and support visa processes when required
Skills and Experience:
* Previous HR Manager or Senior HR Advisor experience within a creative, design, or professional services setting
* Strong knowledge of UK employment law
* Confident partnering with senior leaders and guiding sensitive matters
* Empathetic communication, diplomacy, and problem solving skills
* Comfortable working in a fast paced, project driven environment
* HRIS experience and an interest in improving systems and processes
* The right to live and work in the UK
