Summary for MEPH Design Assistant The MEPH Design Assistant supports the design and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Hydraulic systems for new build residential developments, including apartments and townhouses. The role assists senior engineers with drafting, coordination, and documentation to deliver compliant and efficient residential building services designs. This is an office-based role, working Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm with an hour for lunch. Job Summary of MEPH Design Assistant * Use AutoCAD (and Revit where applicable) to view, update, and amend MEPH drawings for new build residential projects. * Assist in preparing residential MEPH layouts, schematics, riser diagrams, and typical unit details. * Support the design of residential HVAC, electrical power and lighting, plumbing, drainage, and domestic water systems. * Carry out basic design calculations, equipment sizing, and material take-offs under supervision. * Coordinate MEPH designs with architectural and structural drawings, ensuring alignment with apartment layouts and building constraints. * Assist with clash identification and resolution, particularly within residential ceilings, risers, and service zones. * Attend and participate in Microsoft Teams meetings with internal project teams and external consultants as required. * Assist with preparing design documentation, specifications, and schedules for residentia...
