Summary Responsibilities
* Deliver and lead in providing holistic care for residents, meeting their individual needs. Duties include personal care, assisting with mobility, infection control, supporting residents with dementia and end-of-life care, changing bed linen, sorting laundry, safely disposing of clinical waste, managing stock levels and equipment such as wheelchairs.
* Undertake clinical and medication tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse.
* Collaborate with volunteers, Wellbeing Coordinator, and therapy teams to offer meaningful activities.
* Build relationships with stakeholders, including maintaining a key worker relationship with residents.
* Assist with nutrition, serve drinks, and support residents during meals.
* Maintain accurate records related to care and regulatory requirements.
* Participate in handovers, team meetings, and supervisions.

Other Skills and Qualifications
* Level 2 in Care or equivalent experience/qualification.
* Ability to provide dignified personal care, including nutrition, bathing, and toileting.
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including maths and English.
* Proficient in IT, with basic Word and Email skills.
* Understanding of older people's needs and dementia.
* Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and CQC standards.
* Basic first aid, manual handling, and hygiene practices.
* Experience working with older adults, those with disabilities, or dementia.
* Experience in a care setting such as a nursing home, hospital, or sheltered housing.
* Level 3 in Care or willingness to pursue it for Senior Care Assistant roles.
* People management and development skills.
* Clinical experience including oxygen management, catheter care, and observations.

Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available
Pay: £14.05 per hour plus applicable enhancements.
