The hours of work are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 8.40am to 1.15pm with a 15 minute unpaid morning break. This is a term time only contract commencing September 2025. Under the direction and supervision of the class teacher core responsibilities include:
Working as an TA in Year Three ClassFollowing the instructions of the class teacherPlanning and prioritising tasksClarifying and explaining instructions Communicating effectivelyMotivating pupils to learnOrganising the learning environmentKey Accountabilities will be:Assisting in the delivery of day to day learning activitiesDiscussing with and reporting back to teacher on the planning and assessment of the pupil’s workOrganising and maintaining the learning environmentWorking as part of a teamMaintaining confidentiality inside and outside the workplaceUnderstanding and applying school policiesThe TA may be required to undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the class teacherWe offer a lovely setting, excellent facilities and resources, supportive colleagues and enthusiastic children.
