The hours of work are Monday and Friday from 8.40am to 1.15pm and Thursdays from 08.40 to 3.15pm with a 15 minute unpaid morning break and a 30 minute unpaid lunch break on Thursdays. This is a term time only contract commencing September 2025. Under the direction and supervision of the class teacher core responsibilities include: Working as an TA in Year Three Class Following the instructions of the class teacher Planning and prioritising tasks Clarifying and explaining instructions Communicating effectively Motivating pupils to learn Organising the learning environment Key Accountabilities will be: Assisting in the delivery of day to day learning activities Discussing with and reporting back to teacher on the planning and assessment of the pupil’s work Organising and maintaining the learning environment Working as part of a team Maintaining confidentiality inside and outside the workplace Understanding and applying school policies The TA may be required to undertake any other reasonable tasks as required by the class teacher We offer a lovely setting, excellent facilities and resources, supportive colleagues and enthusiastic children.
