Leo Recruits are working with a reputable higher education providing institution in East London who are in search of an Operations Lead/ Admin to join their growing team. The successful Operations Lead/ Admin will be part of the administration team reporting to the head of operations. The Operations Lead/ Admin is responsible for overseeing the administrative and operational functions of the institution. This role ensures the smooth execution of admission processes, student attendance tracking, financial administration, and compliance with academic policies. The Operations Lead will work closely with academic and administrative teams to enhance efficiency and support the institution’s strategic objectives. About the Operations Lead/ Admin Position East London Monday to Friday Full Time (40hrs pw) £32,000 (Annual Salary) ASAP start Permanent Operations Lead/ Admin Requirements: * A Degree in a relevant subject or ability to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills, and proven experience in the related service area. * Experience in an operational admin role within the education sector. * Knowledge of national and regional policy and legislation relevant to the public sector and/or education. * Financial management skills and commercial acumen. Operations Lead/ Admin Key Responsibilities: Admissions & Student Administration: * Oversee the student admission process, ensuring compliance with institutional policies. * Maintain accurate records of student applications, enrolments, and registrations. * Ensure timely communication with prospective and enrolled students regarding admission requirements, deadlines, and other relevant information. * Coordinate with academic departments to facilitate student onboarding and induction processes. Attendance & Academic Support: * Monitor student attendance records and ensure adherence to attendance policies. * Generate attendance reports and escalate concerns regarding irregularities. * Collaborate with faculty and student services to support student progress tracking. * Assist in scheduling classes, assessments, and other academic activities. Finance & Budget Management: * Assist in raising invoices, processing payments, and maintaining financial records. * Monitor expense ledgers and ensure efficient cash flow management. * Liaise with external vendors and service providers for procurement and financial transactions. * Assisting with family laundry and organising the child’s wardrobe. General Operations & Compliance: * Ensure compliance with college policies, regulations, and accreditation requirements. * Maintain operational efficiency by implementing best practices in administrative processes. * Manage office supplies, facilities, and IT-related operational needs. * Work with internal stakeholders to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions. * Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation. * Supporting and monitoring the committee meeting with SMT and other stakeholders. * Taking key notes and Minutes of these meetings
