As a Operations Assistantbased in Stornoway, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Serving customers on the trade counter, offering advice and product knowledge.
2. Driving a van to deliver plumbing and heating supplies to our customers.
3. Building rapport with customers & suppliers, responding to any queries whether that is over the phone or email and processing sales.
4. General warehouse duties including, goods in & out, filling paperwork, picking and packing customer orders and merchandising.
This is a Full Time permanent position working hours a week, Monday to Thursday, Fridays 08:00am-4pm. Alternate Saturdays 09:00am-1pm, paid as overtime.
And here’s what we’d like you to have:
5. Full UK manual driving license is essential.
6. Previous experience in sales/retail/warehouse.
7. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn, including the completion of necessary training (forklift licence training will be provided).
