About the Opportunity
A rare opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute and relationship-led sales professional to join a specialist contractor working on complex, high-value construction projects across London and the South East.
This role is not transactional. It requires a strategic, consultative approach to manage multi-stakeholder relationships and long sales cycles (often 12 to 36 months). You will be responsible for progressing qualified project opportunities from mid-pipeline stages through to bid, negotiation, and contract award. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across pre-construction, operations, and business development.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on high-level client engagement, has a deep understanding of construction sales cycles, and wants to play a key role in securing landmark commercial projects.
Key Responsibilities
Progress project opportunities passed from Business Development through to contract win
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders including architects, contractors, developers, and end clients
Develop and lead tailored project sales strategies that align with business and client priorities
Support tender strategy development and contribute during mid-bid meetings and post-tender interviews
Partner with pre-construction, finance, and delivery teams to ensure smooth internal handover
Lead negotiations and manage client alignment during the final stages of the sales process
Maintain regular contact with stakeholders through face-to-face meetings and calls
