Polypipe Building Products are focused on delivering solutions to the residential sector. Polypipe Building Products works with national and local developers, plumbing and heating engineers, general builders and groundworkers to deliver above and below ground drainage systems, rainwater solutions as well as hot and cold plastic plumbing products. Role Overview: This position is responsible for providing support and taking responsibility for the administration of company fleet requirements for Polypipe Building Products. Main Responsibilities: * Ensure vehicles and users are compliant with all current laws and legislation including driver’s licence checking. * Arrange inspections and MOTS for the fleet - monitor fleet on a daily basis to ensure all vehicles are serviceable, utilised and controlled. * Update Fleet Management Systems with all changes (new vehicles, new drivers, change of driver, vehicle disposal, costs centre, MOT, RFL etc.) * Ensure all tachograph records are downloaded and analysed, conducting debriefs or collating information for further review. * Process new vehicles or temporary hire vehicles ensuring they are registered on all applicable accounts (MID, Dart Charge, TFL etc.) * Arrange disposal of assets, processing V5C information and removing vehicles from all applicable accounts. * Maintaining vehicle files, ensuring all documentation is stored and retained in line with legal requirements. * Authorise vehicle repairs & compile KPIs relating to fleet costs and provide information for weekly review meetings. * Manage accreditation status of the Fleet Operation Recognition Scheme (FORS), which includes preparation of audit material; documents related to processes and procedures, and ensuring all drivers are trained to meet the standard set by FORS. * Managing & monitoring Purchase Orders, carrying out analysis where required. Skills / Experience: * Experience within transport / fleet management / compliance is preferred for this role. * A Certificate of Professional Competence or willingness to train would be advantageous. * Experience with web-based compliance systems & a good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook. * Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. * Strong ability to multi-task and prioritise work. Attention to detail and accuracy. * Understanding/previous experience of FORS accreditation.
