is currently recruiting Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a 3-month contract with a well-established food distribution company operating across Edinburgh and surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for steady, ongoing work with full-time hours, competitive pay, and the chance to build valuable industry experience.

🕒 Working Pattern
1. Ongoing work for a 3-month contract period
2. Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts available
3. Typical start times of 7:00am or 11:00am
4. Full-time hours with overtime opportunities during busy periods
💰 Pay Rates
Monday to Friday
5. £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
6. £16.25 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
Overtime – After 8 Hours
7. £19.32 per hour (PAYE)
8. £21.66 per hour (PAYE Advanced)
✅ Minimum 8 hours’ pay guaranteed per shift
✅ Weekly pay
✅ Holiday pay accrued unless PAYE Advanced selected
🚚 The Role
9. Driving a Class 2 vehicle delivering food products to customers
10. Completing multi-drop deliveries across local routes
11. Working alongside a driver’s mate to assist with loading and unloading
12. Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time
13. Carrying out daily vehicle checks and completing paperwork accurately
14. Providing professional and friendly customer service
✅ Requirements
15. Full UK Class 2 (Category C) licence
16. Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph card
17. Maximum 9 penalty points
(No DD, DR, CD, or IN endorsements)
18. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
19. Reliable, professional, and safety-focused attitude
