Job Overview
This position is casual as required, specifically for a WEEKEND and EVENTS Hospitality Assistant. They will play a vital role in ensuring a high-quality hospitality experience for guests. This position involves delivering the service of food and beverages within the Club house at BGC for casual users and formal organised events at weekends and evening events. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.
Duties
* Serve food and beverages to members and guests in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring an exceptional experience.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, including kitchen and dining spaces, adhering to food safety regulations.
* Support catering events by setting up and dismantling service areas as required.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service, tidy kitchen and address any guest needs or concerns promptly.
* Assist with bartending duties as needed.
* Opening and Locking up responsibilities
Skills
* Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
* Previous experience in catering settings is an advantage.
* Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
* Bartending skills are a plus, with knowledge of drink recipes being beneficial.

Pay: £12.44 per hour
