Your Role & Team in a Nutshell
As a Brand Marketing Assistant, you'll collaborate on crafting brand innovation and communication strategies for the Parker brand, aimed at boosting consumer demand and market share. Your role involves aiding in brand and pricing strategies, managing product portfolio, and shaping brand communication plans.
You'll be part of a four-person team based in our London office.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
Your Key Responsibilities as a Brand Marketing Assistant:
Brand Strategy
1. Suggest improvements to the brand’s image and how it connects with customers.
2. Maintain the brand’s standards and be its advocate within the company.
3. Ensure product packaging aligns with the brand’s message and participate in global design projects.
Innovation
4. Develop new ideas for the brand and decide which ones are most important.
5. Work with the research and insights teams to create a plan for new products or services.
6. Present a strong case for these new ideas to the company’s leaders.
7. Manage the introduction and discontinuation of products, and plan strategies for different areas and sales channels.
Activation
8. Carry out plans for how the brand communicates and aims for long-term success.
9. Help set up a comprehensive marketing plan that includes advertising, promotions, and sales strategies.
10. Assist in setting marketing goals and budgeting for the year.
11. Work with agencies to ensure they understand and execute the brand’s communication goals.
12. Monitor the effectiveness of projects and keep track of their success.
Insights
13. Understand the brand’s customers and use research to gain a complete picture of them.
14. Share knowledge about the customers and market with others in the company.
15. Keep track of marketing and quality metrics to understand their effects.
Pricing
16. Use market data to recommend pricing strategies for products.
17. Take part in pricing reviews to make sure the brand is getting the most value.
18. Understand how pricing affects the brand’s reputation.
19. Spot the best times to run promotions based on customer behaviour.
What You’ll Need
Minimum:
20. Experience assisting in or executing of marketing plans across different consumer touch points, including point-of-purchase.
21. Ability to understand and support the translation of marketing objectives into strategies and plans.
22. Basic understanding of pricing strategies and willingness to learn and support pricing management.
23. Participation in new product launches, from concept to market success.
24. Good command of MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
