The Marketing Assistant role is flexible and varied and best suited to bright individuals looking for something different. You'll have a chance to make a big impact, because we are a small team that values everyone. Our culture is all about flexibility and putting people first. We see this as a great step into marketing and the fast-paced world of consultancy – with the opportunity to learn about world class clients and the senior team, without having to present directly to clients, unless you want to. Our client facing team need more support in getting the job done and this gives an opportunity to learn and have valuable input, whilst letting the client team manage the majority of direct communications.
The whole team (including Fred the dog) is split between the office and remote working, although we think at least 3 days per week in the office will give you the most from the role.
The variety of responsibilities below is not exhaustive and is subject to change.
Analysis and Reporting
· Carry out intelligence using desktop research (including LinkedIn and AI)
· Apply common sense and fact checking to any research (particularly if from AI)
· Think creatively, offering suggestions for improvement and progression
· Produce reports (internally and externally) on performance of specific campaigns and websites etc.
Client Support
· Use multiple marketing channels to ensure maximum exposure for clients, including social media, email and any emerging channels
· Provide intelligent and creative marketing services, supporting account management
· Help create tailored and engaging copy across website, email and social media
· Manage and maintain client websites
· Support the organisation and running of events (including research and follow up activity)
Team Support
· Build professional and trusting relationships with your colleagues
· Support TBDC's own marketing efforts with copy, digital newsletters, social media and podcasts as just some of the examples
· Maintain our library of "How To" guides across the broad range of platforms that clients use
· Manage and update data using our CRM (HubSpot)
· Work closely with our BD Support Manager as well as other managers and directors, with regular communication across the team of KPIs and priority tasks
3. Person Specification
Essential
· A strong work ethic, confident, committed and organised
· An excellent communicator, verbally and written, with a keen attention to detail
· Happy to work independently and on own initiative – juggling your own time and tasks
· Ability to working remotely when needed – in terms of space, IT set up and motivation
· Knowledge of various digital marketing techniques and channels including social media
· Confident user of Word, Excel & related Microsoft packages
Desirable
· At least 12 months experience in a professional office environment, ideally in marketing.
· Any relevant work experience but would suit someone who has worked in a similar capacity before e.g. business development, account management, recruitment, PR, advertising, B2B sales

5. Remuneration
£25-28,000 Depending on experience; plus profit share.
