To find out more about Practice Unbound, please visit our website: Primary Care e-Learning and Digital Resources- Here We are looking for an someone with Practice Administrator experience to process General Practice clinical correspondence. You will be processing letters on behalf of a local GP practice and will need to follow guidelines and protocols specific to that practice. You will be supported by the team at Practice Unbound, including training, 121 support and regular GP catch ups. You will be required to access the clinical system and process an agreed number of letters each week. This role is temporary and should be treated as supplementary work: Flexible hours/days: minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 16 hours per week. Job share considered. £12.60 per hour. Minimum of 3 months contract (with scope to extend). The role will require you to: Review incoming patient letters, processing those suitable and forwarding those that require clinical input. This includes: Attaching letters to the patient record Adding clinical codes Reviewing contents against a protocol Reviewing patient history as required Completing actions Filing or forwarding letters Record this information in a separate log and export letters into a shared folder. Meet the Workflow Go GP Lead regularly to ensure quality and adherence to practice protocols/requirements. Process a high volume of letters, safely and effectively within distinct timeframes. Person specification: E= Essential D = Desirable Ability to process patient letters within a clinical system. (E) Worked in a practice for at least 6 months or have equivalent experience. (E) Can confidently navigate the clinical system – SystmOne, including processing letters from batches, filing letters, adding codes, creating and managing tasks and reporting. (E) Understand basic principles of clinical codes and how to search for one in the clinical system. (E) Have a basic understanding of medical terminology. (D) Must be confident in using Excel. (D) Organised and able to record information precisely, following specific instructions. (D)
