AI Engineer
Location - Erskine, Newcastle, Farnborough or London

Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and optimize Transformer-based architectures (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Claude).
2. Fine-tune large language models for domain-specific applications.
3. Implement advanced prompt engineering strategies.
4. Leverage Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) for enhanced contextual performance.
5. Build intelligent agents using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen.
6. Apply reinforcement learning techniques including Q-learning, policy gradients, and RLlib.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into scalable products.
8. Ensure best practices in data engineering and contribute to architectural decisions.
9. Contribute to the mentoring and development of junior team members.
10. Support senior team members in identifying and addressing data science opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience
11. Proven experience with Transformer models and LLMs (GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, Claude).
12. Strong background in fine-tuning and prompt engineering.
13. Hands-on experience with RAG pipelines.
14. Familiarity with Agent Frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen).
15. Solid understanding of reinforcement learning concepts and tools (Q-learning, policy gradients, RLlib).
16. Azure AI Engineer Associate certification (or willingness to obtain).
17. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
18. Demonstrated relevant industry experience, including time spent in a similar role.
19. Proficiencies in data cleansing, exploratory data analysis, and data visualization.
