JOB ROLE: Learning Disability Support Worker

LOCATION: St Neots (PE19)

SALARY: £12.60 - £13.30* per hour

FULL UK MANUAL DRIVING LICENSE ESSENTIAL DUE TO LOCATION OF SERVICE.

Due to continued growth, we are urgently seeking Full Time Support Workers (36 hours per week) to join our AMAZING supportive team at Manor Farm in St Neots.


About Us:

Manor Farm supports 8 adults with a dual diagnosis of Autism and Learning Disabilities.
Joining our team at Manor Farm will be fulfilling, fun, and rewarding, offering you stability with the opportunity to grow and develop your career further.

Many of our Managers and Team Leaders joined us as a Support Worker and through ongoing training and coaching, they are continuing to move further up the accomplishment ladder into more senior positions.


As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day-to-day support and routine of the people within the service including:

* Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
* Prompting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
* Supporting & encouraging the development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
* Maintaining and helping with health care needs, including accompanying the people we support to routine appointments or administering medication.
* Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills & shopping.
* Assisting with personal care as required.
* Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning & cooking.
* Providing guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.

Experience within the care sector is not essential as we offer full training; however, what you do need is the enthusiasm and commitment to live our company values every day to ensure we move mountains to support people to live happy and healthy lives.
