What you'll do:
In the capacity of Real Estate Litigation Solicitor based in Bristol, you will:
* Provide considered advice and support to a diverse portfolio of high-profile commercial clients-including property owners, landlords and tenants, investors, retailers, transport companies, renewable energy entities, and developers-on contentious property matters.
* Manage disputes pertaining to development land and property contracts as well as commercial landlord and tenant issues such as lease renewals, terminations, disrepair claims, dilapidations, break notices, forfeiture actions, breaches of lease covenants (including consent matters), and service charge disagreements.
* Assist with multifaceted property disputes within the energy and renewables sector involving title and ownership complexities, securing land rights for projects, interpreting agreements for lease or purchase, managing options and overage agreements, addressing easements or restrictive covenants, trespass claims and nuisance issues.
* Support the Home Ownership Disputes team by assisting clients in resolving property trust disputes under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA), particularly those concerning beneficial interests in property.
* Participate actively in networking events and business development initiatives to enhance the Property Disputes team's profile within Bristol and further afield.
* Independently manage your own caseload of property dispute matters while collaborating closely with experienced Partners and Legal Directors locally as well as providing support to other senior lawyers across the national team.
* Ensure precise time recording, billing management and financial oversight for your caseload to facilitate effective practice management.
* Deliver clear written advice to clients that is both practical and tailored to their objectives whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail throughout all stages of casework.
* Engage regularly in knowledge sharing sessions with colleagues to promote continuous learning within the department.
* Contribute constructively to the firm's inclusive culture by participating in community engagement activities aligned with its ESG strategy.
What you bring:
To excel as a Real Estate Litigation Solicitor in this esteemed position you will:
* Demonstrate experience or genuine interest in real estate litigation or contentious property law acquired during training or post-qualification (NQ - 3 years PQE).
* Exhibit initiative by proactively seeking solutions for clients whilst remaining considerate of their individual needs.
* Display exemplary interpersonal skills with an aptitude for communicating clearly both verbally and in writing when interacting with clients or colleagues.
* Possess robust research capabilities combined with scrupulous attention to detail when preparing legal documents or analysing case law.

* Maintain composure under pressure by remaining calm when addressing urgent or complex matters.
