A vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint a full-time English Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced English teachers and support pupils in achieving academic success across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role:
* Provide tailored support in English lessons, focusing on reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and exam skills
* Lead small group and one-to-one interventions to help close learning gaps and build student confidence
* Assist with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities
* Encourage students' love for English through creative engagement and mentorship
* Support literacy development across the curriculum in line with whole-school initiatives

* Location: Greater Manchester (flexible locations including Stockport, Levenshulme, and Cheadle)
* Start Date: September 2025
* Contract: Full academic year (Monday to Friday)
* Pay: £89.38 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
* Hours: 8:15am – 3:15pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
