Beacon Communication Services is a leader in telecoms infrastructure within the UK, is now seeking exceptional candidates to join our Acquisition and Planning team.

We are seeking confident communicators with a strong track record of delivering projects within time constraints to join the A&P team as a surveyor. Telecommunications and Beacon in particular offer outstanding prospects for the right candidates and although ideally we are looking to recruit individuals with previous Telecommunications experience, we can also offer a comprehensive training programme for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and aptitude.
Duties:
* Negotiating with existing and new Site Owners & Tenants to secure consent for upgrades & New sites on behalf of our Clients
* Review Lease documentation to ascertain rights & advise clients on how best to utilise those rights
* Drafting formal letters, Heads of Terms, Valuations and other formal notices to Landowners & Clients as required
* Managing a wide portfolio consisting of different customers, different properties, different acquisition pathways etc.
* Complete and submit Planning Applications and Licence Notifications to the Local Planning Authorities and if required, attend committee and community meetings
* Complete Site Searches with site visits, take part in other on site meetings with Clients & Site Owners
* Use multiple databases & workflow tools to deliver acquisition and planning targets
* Project Management of sites through the Design, Acquisition and Planning process including client reporting
* Supporting build teams & other departments to ensure end to end project deliverables are met
* Develop & build knowledge of client technical requirements, specs etc. as well as wider industry developments including changes in legislation and the use of new legal tools
Skills:
* Strong MS Office Skills including Excel
* An Honours Degree is desirable but not essential
* Telecoms experience is desirable but not essential
* Commercial awareness
* Excellent communication skills

* Proactive can-do attitude
* Good organisational skills
