How you'll play your part
We're looking for someone passionate and driven, who understands the macro and micro environment surrounding the post-BREXIT landscape. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting communication with, and interpretation of, the external macro environment. Working closely with UK Government and trade and industry, you'll build a detailed understanding of the legislative landscape affecting the sale of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars. Your focus will be on regulation and governmental strategy/funding, applying your knowledge of the regulatory landscape to position our corporate strategy regarding vehicle emissions and the transition from ICE to electric vehicles.
You will establish professional relationships and develop a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape influencing passenger car sales in the UK. Working with the Head of Product Management, you'll act as a Subject Matter Expert for all Governmental initiatives related to UK Homologation/Type Approval and regulations. You will ensure our ability to register vehicles under new GB Type approval legislation and maintain compliance with legal homologation requirements.
You will represent Mercedes-Benz UK with the UK Government, building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
